There’s always room for a new pair, and this season, out of many styles that I bought; there’s one, that stood out.  The casual sneakers & the Slip ons. I loved spending every penny on them. The best part about them is, that they go well with just everything, from dresses to shorts and what’s more? I wear them to work and they look even better with formals.

Yes! So Shoes, is what this post is all about. The shoes that I have, may not be available online anymore but I will share the links of some of the shoes that are still on my wish list so by the end of the post if you guys don’t decide to buy them, I most certainly will.

When it comes to sneakers or sports shoes, like many I trust only a few brands, those that I blindly trust are, Nike, Adidas, New Balance. Yet, this year I am going to try something different. The new additions to my wardrobe will be Superdry, Asics, Call it Spring, Mango, Aldo and Steve Madden. I will be sharing the links of all the shoes that I wish to buy or already owe!

I have categorised the shoes under the following categories:

The Neons

The Flower Power &

The Super Sporty

Neon

So this is all for now …soon i’ll be posting the metallic sneakers’s collection 🙂 Let me know if it was worth your time!

These are a few of my favourite brands…

I am a major shopaholic. The first half of the month I am busy buying; the second half of the month leaves me wondering whether I actually needed any of that.

Still nothing has ever deterred my shopping spirit, it’s my Christmas. I have stuff in my wardrobe with tags intact, since forever, the only excuse that I give myself for not wearing it is… It’s special and I am waiting for the right time.

I have a Just Cavalli Halter worn twice, in an absolute mint condition, anybody interested?? I am in a giveaway mood. If it fits you it’s yours. I got that as a gift but because it doesn’t fit me too well I feel the rightful owner should claim the piece.

It’s been my favourite since 2010 and because I don’t do justice to the brand I feel it’s better to finally say goodbye to this old friend.

Now coming back to my shopping. I’d like to share with you the brands that I buy and the websites that I refer to while shopping online. I am an impatient shopper with absolutely no patience to brave the long queues or to go through innumerable racks to find just the piece that I have in mind. I don’t like the hassle of carrying shopping bags. I am just too lazy for all of that, so to shop more conveniently I took help of online shopping. It was difficult at first but I got the hang of it after a few attempts. Now after so many years, I am perfect to become an online fashion consultant; which I partly do as a hobby currently only in office and for some friends.

The online shopping scenario has improved drastically over the years, thank goodness for the promotions, even toddlers know about websites. Still, there are so many brands available that you’d find quantity reigning over quality. There are only a few Indian websites that I’d prefer for buying online fashion. A Nike or an Adidas can be bought from almost every site but till sometime back it was impossible to get fashion labels like Topshop or Missguided on an India website.

Clearly if you’re a fashion fanatic only 1 website does Justice to your wardrobe and that’s JABONG. Yes, my views could be biased since I am one of their most loyal customer. I have never really faced a problem in either their service or the quality. So every week the Javas guy rings a bell at my door to deliver something or the other.

Of course like any others online seller they too have a gamut of brands under them but the top 10 international brand one should look out for are:

  1. Topshop – http://www.topshop.com/
  2. Dorothy Perkins – http://www.dorothyperkins.com
  3. Missguided – www.missguided.co.uk
  4. Buggati – http://www.bugatti-fashion.com/
  5. Miss Selfridge – http://www.missselfridge.com/
  6. River island – http://www.riverisland.com/
  7. Next – http://www.next.co.uk/
  8. Forever New – http://www.forevernew.co.in/
  9. Mexx & – http://www.mexx.com/
  10. New Look – http://www.newlook.com/

I have minimum two pieces of each of them in my wardrobe and I can swear by the old gods and the new gods that they deserve to be bought. The quality of the clothes is unmatched; such fine clothes on forever discount. Go on, see for yourself, you can thank me later!!

Dear Reader,
I am grateful that you took out time to read this blog.
The first post will briefly tell you as to why I am here, and what I plan to achieve from this blog. Despite being an ephemeral writer, I don’t really know how a blog works. I tried it once before but I lost interest. Now that’s not the first time I have lost interest in the things that I claim to love. (No pun intended). Yes, I have a short attention span and I get bored, just too soon, and quickly.
So, because I thought I was wasting time on the unnecessary, I planned to devote time on the essential. Yes, I love to write and I love to shop, also I work in a 9-6 kind of environment where numbers and not words, work. I am partly a marketer and partly an analyst. So, you see I need to belch out my pent up emotions somewhere; but I am sure you won’t get bored. I am everything but boring.
I intend to take you through my impressive shopping experiences, no I won’t do a haul in here; I am barely getting used to blogging, remember? I will post the links of the things that I fancy, a lot of pictures maybe because I’ve heard I have a good taste in clothes, fine wine, and food and of course I write! Also, I would be a stylist, had my parents not forced me to take up something steadier. So get ready to ride on an ‘all things girls love’ kind of a journey which I hope will keep you busy.
Please leave reviews, if you feel it’s worth it! I just embarked on a journey to accomplish the unaccomplished in my life and I am grateful, now you are a part of it.
Yours Truly,
SA Zoya
